So, yesterday I finally broke up with my (now ex-)girlfriend. And I feel like, well, 14 years old - you need to know that she was my first girlfriend ;)
It was wonderful when we were together - but that was very rare due the distance. What keeps me most down is to know that I broke her heart. That she might be crying now. To know what a wonderful person she was and that I failed.
Well, that's life.
(Off-topic: Does anyone know if blogger allows something like "read the whole entry"? I have much to say about this (well, I don't know if I will do so ;) ) but I won't have such long entrys in the overview.)

German radio broadcast station shortens critical Song.
So, this entry trys to tell the story written here for English-speaking readers. Entrys like this (I plan to make more in future) will be tagged with "Germany" and contain little storys that happen here, but may not be "big" enough to be spread around the world.
Here in Germany, "die Ärzte" ('the doctors') is one of the most famous rock bands. They exist since more than 20 years now and are still active and call themselve "die beste Band der Welt".
The latest single is called "lasse reden" ('let them talk'). In this song, die Ärzte are telling the listener to ignore the people who talk behind your back because you are not acting as others do.
As typical for many songs of die Ärzte, the lyrics are quite funny. This is the music-video of the song:
In one verse, they sing:
The BILD is a large "newspaper" in Germany, but it is not very legitimate. There are often lies and half-true stories published in (maybe comparable with the Sun).
A popular blog in Germany called BILDblog uncovers the lies and the bad things that that 'newspaper' do or that happen in relationship with the BILD.
So they (BILDblog) inform the reader that, for example (what this entry is about) a German radio broadcast station called "Antenne Bayern" (so it is a Bavarian station. I have never listened to it, but I think it is a "formatradio"-station, you know, "the best from the 80s, the 90s and the newes hits!11", which I hate in general) plays the mentioned song too, but has shorten it so that the quoted verse is not included anymore. It is not unusual that songs are shortened (especially in this radio formats), usually this happens if the length exceed a limit, for example 3 minutes. But this song is quite short, so there is normally no reason to shorten it. So it is supposed that the verse was deleted because the Antenne Bayern-station belongs particulary to the Axel Springer AG - the largest German newspaper publisher, which biggest newspaper is - the BILD.

Lass die Leute reden und lächle einfach mildIn English, this means something like
Die meisten Leute haben ihre Bildung aus der Bild
Und die besteht nun mal, wer wüsste das nicht
Aus Angst, Hass, Titten und dem Wetterbericht.
Just let the people talk and just smile to what they say
Most people got their opinion from the BILD
And the BILD contains, as everyone knows
of fear, hate, tits and the weather forecast

new iPhone announced, but not interesting for me.
So, today Steve Jobs announced the 2nd generation iPhone on the WWWDC. Unlike the first model, the new iPhone finally has full 3G-support (so, the Fanboys don't have to argue with "EDGE is fast enough!" any more ;) and has also the abilitiy to use GPS which allows tracking with the installed Google Maps software. Also, the already announced Software Developement Kit (SDK) was mentioned again, which removes imho a big disadvantage of the iPhone, which was that there was no official way to install other applications than the pre-installed one.
Well, the most interesting change is the price - it will be rapidly reduced.
(My English-teacher told me that in Britain, the iPhone is not only availible with a contract, but with pay-as-you-go, which would be very interesting if availible in Germany, too. This makes the whole iPhone much cheaper if you don't use it much as a phone) But at all, the iPhone is imho a nice gadged, but still has to many limitations.
I am in doubt that the iPhone 2g is able to use the internal cam (Which is not changed and remains a 2mpx-cam) to record videos (A feature which is quite important, at least for me), also you might still not use custom MP3-Files as ringtones (I like creating and mixing own ringtones on the computer using snippets from my favourite songs) nor sending and receiving MMS (Which is not so important for me, but "nice to have" - and a cellphone pronounced as "the iPhone you have been waiting for" should offer features that even my 3 years old crappy cellphone offers.)
So, the iPhone 3g is still not "the perfect phone", even if Apple-fanboys might argue this way.
It is only less shitty than the first version.

Hello, World.
Hi and welcome, folks!
So I finally decided to start blogging and to improve my foreign language skills I will do this in English. So, at the beginning a few words about me:
I am male, 20 years old and I live in Paderborn, which is in North Rhine-Westphalia. I won't write much more about me now because imho in this times of protest it seems a bit paranoid to protest against Vorratsdatenspeicherung on one side and on to publish personal details in weblogs on the other side.
Well, I choose this nickname because of Ian Curtis, frontman of Joy Division - while I was thinking about a nickname, the shuffle mode of Winamp choose the song Love will tear us apart.
So much from me right now.
